Iconography:  

Bill Quick has studied the Byzantine Russian tradition of Iconography under Vladislav Andrejev and the Prosopon School of Iconography.  These Icons are written in the traditional manner and are suitable for liturgical purposes, as well as for private prayer.  A spiritual process of prayer and meditation is ongoing during the preparation and writing of the Icon.  

Classical oil painting:

Bill Quick has studied the classical academic method of the Renaissance masters under Frank Covino and his Academy of Classical Renaissance Art. Emphasis is placed on learning to paint like the Old Masters and applying their technique to current subjects.

The art on this site predominantly reflects the Christian religious ethos.  However, the classical oil painting methodology used by the artist can be used to portray other subjects such as portraiture, landscapes, still life, etc.
